OBSERVEATION #3-EFFORT (LMA)

Location: Subway

Woman using her cell phone to play a game used a dabbing action (light, direct, sudden) to touch the screen as well as a gliding action (light, direct, sustained).  She then took the hand away and sustained massaged her chin and then returned to the prior actions. 

Location:  Subway

Man walked quickly (slight increase of par) into the train using indirect focus and then  direct focus to spot something on the floor. He then maintained direct focus as he used a quick sweeping action as well as a quick, strong, punch (effort action) into the floor with the toe of his boot to release what was stuck to the floor into the brush pan.
